Before you visit a doctor, hospital or pharmacy:
- Please check your policy to make sure you understand what your health plan will and won't cover.
- When you find a doctor you want to visit, please call ahead of time and ask if he or she is accepting new patients.
- Before you receive care, please confirm your health coverage with your doctor.
Note that you may be seen in a teaching facility or by a doctor who has a teaching program. This means you may be seen by a medical student, intern or resident participating in a teaching program. You are responsible for asking your doctor if you have questions about your care.
